Haven't heard much from anyone...any news you all would like to share?

Enjoyed a recent BBQ at the home of Jussi and Sabrina.  Here are a few pictures from that event:

Congratulations go out to Elizabeth who recently graduated from the Adventist Academy and is off to attend CSUSM!

In our little world, we recently watched Ryan graduate this past Friday, the 13th!  He will continue to work at the movie theater, take a week long cruise to Mexico with his good friend and their family, then it is off to UCR where he will major in creative writing! 

We will hold a BBQ this Sunday the 22nd of June at 3pm.  We would love to have you all over to celebrate with us, to swim, and to just catch up!

Hello as you all have heard already I am deployed to iraq but not for long.I am halfway through the deployment now and cant wait to meet the rest of you all.I just know we are gonna have good times and share wonderful storys.I am due back on April 28th and would really appreciate it if you could come to our welcome home ceremony.Until that day I will be patiently waiting to meet you all.

Heather and Anthony have been dating for some time now and yesterday, December 9, 2007, they eloped to Las Vegas.  Anthony is from Washington and is a Corporal in the Marines.  He recently returned from a tour in Iraq.

I am happy to announce the engagement of Noemi to Thomas Mendez. They have been together 8 months and he ask her to marry him on 9-26-07 at the beach, how romantic!

Thomas is in the city of Falluja patrolling, right now he is assigned to watch over the Iraqi police. Please pray for Thomas' health and safe return.

Thursday

Hello all!

Mark is home this morning and taking it easy today.  he goes back in tomorrow morning for his regular shift.

Also wanted to thank Carlos for his hours of work helping people to breathe better! Carlos went to work on Sunday and worked 24hr for the next 2 days he was able to go home on Tuesday to shower and went back to work. They sent him home that night and he slept like a baby till the Wednesday morning and was ready to go back in to work they told him to rest and come in that night and to bring clothes just in case he may not be able to leave. And he did, he was able to come home this morning but they still have him on call. (Thanks Jessica for the info.)

Wednesday update 2pm

Finally talked to Mark.  They brought them to camp to sleep at 1am and let them sleep until 6am.  At about 10am they sent them to their station.  Mark is on scheduled duty so is off the main fire lines but still at work on duty at the station.

Wednesday morning

I have not yet heard from Mark today.  He thought he would be relieved this morning to get some much needed sleep, so let's hope that is what he and his crew are doing.
