3. I wish I never had to buy bras again.

4. Mark has allowed me change my life.

5. I know the song um, jingle bells (?) by heart.

6. If I weren't so afraid, I would say more & travel more.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to Just me time, tomorrow my plans include Hanging with my sister and her family and Sunday, I want to scrap & watch the Chargers beat the Broncos!

{post Christmas relaxation}

We had a wonderful Christmas.  Low-key and just simply perfect!  The boys got what they asked for. Erik got his iTouch and a few other things and Ryan got his GPS and a few other items.

It was a rainy Christmas morning here and we had to wait for Mark to arrive home from work

but we warmed up with a yummy breakfast consisting of homemade Cinnamon Rolls, a Scramble Bake and some Canadian Bacon with Apples!

We then opened presents and I got the HD Flop Mino along with everything else I asked for!
 

My mom got the boys all matching flannel shirts, check it out!

Received some disturbing news on Friday and we, as a family, are dealing...I will leave it at that for now...

TallyScrapper released their December kit designed by the ever creative and crafty Rachel.  The kit sold out in record time.  I have to say, it is stunning, I am loving it!! Here is what I have created thus far:

The layout above will be the cover page to my 2009 Tally Month in Review (TMR) album.  This is a group that is getting ready to start over at TallyScrappers.  The group will encourage you to do a layout the end of each month using photos snapped that month.  This will focus on the every day.  We will encourage each other with photo prompts as well as the layout challenge.  Come on over and join us!  Look for the group starting soon!!

{Christmas Cheer}

Santa Claus is coming to town!  Are you ready?  I am just about ready...  Last Friday Mark joined me at BJ's for my WIN VRS Christmas party.  A good time was had by all.  I am fortunate to have wonderful bosses and co-workers!  Even scored a bonus!  Woo Hoo!

Here is my haul from the gift exchange!  Also scored some chocolate and almond champagne!

After this party Mark, Erik and I headed to an "Ugly" Sweater party hosted by one of Mark's co-workers!
Here is the sweater I wore, straight out of the 80's with shoulder pads and all!

Erik, didn't pose much for me but I did capture this of him and Chico:

and for Mark, we found this beauty...I love this short sleeved sweater and am debating on keeping it or putting it up on Ebay!

and also picked up this "Cowboy" sweater for Ryan who bailed on us to hang out with friends his own age, LOL, go figure.

and then on Saturday I took off with Kat and Radona.  We headed to Anaheim to crop with the So Cal Scrap gals!.  Thanks for hooking me up Kat!!  I didn't scrap much but got a couple of things done.  This layout featuring the ugly sweaters:

Also completed this Owl Mini album I picked up at Pink Pineapple.  It may just be a little gift for a friend. ;o}

{I Do My Little Turn on the Catwalk}

Yeah, on the Catwalk!  The talented Amber Ulmer over at Scrap in Style TV selected my wreath (see post below) to be featured on this week's Catwalk!  I am both humble and honored to have been selected!  Thanks!!

Meanwhile, in the Gutter, the Girlz have posted an awesome new challenge..."What is your favorite 4-letter word?"  Use some red on this challenge and the song prompt is Wendy's Song from South Park!  Check out the blog to see what the Gutter Girlz created as well as the fabulous Linda Wood, honorary Gutter Girl and co-author of Visual Chronicles and Journal Revolution (which I have and LOVE!).

So Christmas is just around the corner!!!  Ack!
Got most of my shopping done just need to start wrapping.  Christmas cards, yeah, well...I always think I have a ton of time to make them and then here it is December 6th...maybe I still will, but most likely, they will once again be store bought...   One year I will learn to create them at a crop during October!

I leave you with my latest layout from the TallyScrapper Survivor challenge which is wrapping up now.  This challenge was to create a layout on a blown up (12X12) black & white photo.  The other photos had to be color and we could not use any pattern paper.

Also, we are working on the 12 Days of Christmas at Tally.  I am creating a mini album with my entries.  Here is Day 1 "I Believe"  using this old song by Don Williams for inspiration:
